Digital cameras, imaging modules & components, and software.
JENOPTIK is developing, manufacturing and selling digital cameras for professional use (science, industry, studio photography,…) for nearly 15 years. In the nineties our cameras in scientific, especially microscope, applications have been exclusively marketed worldwide through Carl Zeiss.
As Zeiss started to built their own digital cameras we lost our distribution network for our microscope cameras. Now we are in the process of setting up our own dealer network.
Our series of digital cameras for scientific microscopy includes color cameras with resolutions from 1.4 million pixels to 12.1 million pixels (ProgRes series) as well as OPTRONICS color and monochrome cameras with resolutions of 2 and 4 million pixels. All models are equipped with
IEEE1394a FireWire and C-Mount interfaces (except the MacroFIRE and the QuantiFIRE which come with 4 Megapixel and F-Mount providing a full field of view), two are cooled. Both Microsoft Windows and Apple Macintosh Operating Systems are supported.

ProgRes® microscope cameras from Jenoptik provide high quality images in all contrast methods in light microscopy. Natural color reproduction and reproducibility of data are essential in material science and life science applications for qualitative and quantitative analysis.
High sensitivity and outstanding dynamic range of color or monochrome ProgRes® cameras are prerequisites for demanding imaging solutions. Microscanning offers highest image resolution.
